We Finally Have an Official Mocktastic Documentation Site

Our new documentation site - a one stop destination where you can learn all about the various features supported by Mocktastic, and how to use them.

Never heard of Mocktastic before? Well, Mocktastic is a cross platform, downloadable, GUI desktop application, which allows you to easily mock up any REST API without having to write a single line of code. Anybody can create a mock API server, and then share it with their team, so the entire team can use it. Click here to know more!
We Finally Have an Official Mocktastic Documentation Site

While we designed Mocktastic to be as intuitive and easy to use as possible, it is still a bit of a complicated piece of software which does a lot of things. While we tried to expose all the features within the app via the UX, inevitably quite a few of the features got left out, and people had a hard time figuring out how to do things.

In order to alleviate the problem, we have been making a series of how-to posts on our blog. But since we talk about pretty much everything Mocktastic on this blog, things tend to get missed here too.

With the aim of providing a one stop destination where you can learn all about the various features supported by Mocktastic, and how to use them, we have launched our brand new documentation site. Here we cover every single functionality of the Mocktastic desktop app, as well as the web sync service that we provide.

The launch of the documentation site, also ties in nicely with our v0.6.2 release, which brings with it the ability to template your response headers and endpoints using Handlebars templates. As part of this functionality, Mocktastic exposes a large number of Handlebars helpers, to enable you to do pretty much anything from generating a random email address, to picking an item randomly from an array. You can read more about response templating in the dedicated section in our documentation site.

So go ahead, check the site out, and tell us what you think!
